Building a Leadership Habitat
This course is an innovative and fun way to explore principles and lessons learned about leadership and team building. The PeTab village residents are brought to life by the entertaining voice-over artist. Participants may also level up their understanding and analyses of the characters through practical modules at the end of the course.
The PeTab Sanctuary bustles with excitement as the wise owl Xilè and her confidants Sara and Luminary prepare cabins for the new arrivals. A large group of new inhabitants are on their way, seeking refuge from the drought and illness that has overtaken the Sukhothai Kingdom. Xilè welcomes these newcomers with joy. Still, she’s concerned about the changes that will come with such dynamic growth. How should Xilè put the upcoming changes in a context that leads to her own growth, along with the residents of the sanctuary? How should she motivate others while inspiring team-building skills needed to bring these new animals during the onboarding process to PeTab? How does she navigate herself out of her own comfort zones, while creating a safe space to encourage her team to learn and grow, and share her own experience as a guiding force during this chaotic move? Walk with her as she rises to the challenge, The joy will be in the journey as you fall in love with the characters.

In 2020, I founded Virtual Patent Gateway (VPG) to provide on-demand paralegal services to Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) practitioners. My virtual services reduce clients’ overhead costs and provide them with agile staffing solutions. Since I started my company, VPG covered at least 100+ inter partes review, post-grant review and ex parte reexaminations for PTAB professionals. I am an immigrant from Hong Kong with over two decades of litigation paralegal experience, a strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The PTAB is an administrative body that was created only about a decade ago, so I saw the unique need for assistance in this new jurisdiction. I created VPG to fill that role.
As a minority business leader myself, I care about diversity, equity, and inclusion. That is why I have used VPG as a vehicle to increase social awareness, implementing programs that allow women and young creatives to gain experience and earn supplemental income simultaneously, even during COVID.
My coaching involves filing assistance for paralegals, law firms, and corporate departments who wish to master this very niche PTAB practice. Email me at [email protected] to find out how VPG can help you grow your experience.
